Vignoble Mercier

The Mercier estate produces Loire - Vendée wines in AOC Fiefs Vendéens, IGP, VDF and Traditional Methods unique in Vendée. The vines are planted on one of the most beautiful terroirs of the Loire Valley. It is an old clay-limestone island rich in flint, at the gates of the Marais Poitevin. It is also the southernmost terroir of the Loire. The Mercier vineyard benefits from a warm and temperate oceanic climate offering the best ripening potential in the region. This exceptional terroir allows the development of several wine profiles, always typical of the Loire Valley. The reds are generous, elegant and marked by the fruit. For the whites, northern exposures are favored to preserve the freshness and elegance specific to Loire wines.
