Founded in 1994, the Fromagerie bio du Maine is a cooperative that brings together 40 producers from Mayenne and some bordering cantons of Brittany and Normandy. The cheese made with raw milk is the symbol of a daily commitment to develop a real quality peasant Organic Farming, well beyond the simple European Organic specifications. Thus, all the farms are certified 100% organic, the cows are fed on pasture grass and hay, without corn or grass silage. Cooperative functioning is the guarantor of the social and solidarity values of these 40 producers
